Project Description: Skrillex, Wax Motif, and Noodz at Avant Gardner Show Flyer

In 2021, I was tasked with creating a unique and type-focused flyer for the first return show of EDM artist Skrillex in NYC at the iconic Avant Gardner venue.
Though the flyer was meant to focus on informing viewers, small embellishments and accents were added to elevate the flyer and give its layout a progression and hierarchy atop the minimal black textured backdrop.
The typographical makeup of the poster is primarily san serif with accent custom letters to capitalize names and replace numerical values.
The flyer, once approved, was repurposed and reformatted for social media usage and shared on the artist’s social pages as well as on the venue’s home page and social marketing.
The event sold out within a day and at full capacity on October 27th, the Avant Gardner venue along with artists Skrillex. Wax Motif, and Noodz put on an astounding show.
